This is what "Going for gold" walkthrough is for.

Why this is a big deal?

Fair question. A gold star means you have a Structural Profit of at least 60M per day. If you play well in AM2, you can double your airline (Structural Profit) every 6 months. This mean more money to re-invest and grow further, and faster.

While this can be true during the early stage and middle part of the game (see game journey); the begining however can be very slow, long and painful. Therefore, jumpstarting to 60+M/day of profit WILL accelerate your airline growth.

This unique tutorial provides you a very straight forward path, step by step roadmap, leading you to your first gold star. It will not explain all the technical details as for "why doing this and not that". Most reasons are explained in details in the Basics and Strategy section of this site. On the otherhand, if this guide is mentioning something against the strategy, it would explain why (there are a few cases).
